The Rennes football shirt is a fairly popular French club shirt. The Rennes home shirt is normally red and black stripes, similar to Italian giants AC Milan. The club are based in Rennes.
Rennes, known by their fans as Les Rouges et Noirs (The Red and Blacks) were formed in 1901. The team was founded by a group of former students who were living in Brittany.
The Rennes home shirt is red and black stripes while the away shirt is usually black and white.
Rennes currently play their home games at Route de Lorient which holds a capacity of 31,127. Rennes have played in this area since 1912.
Although Rennes have never won the Ligue 1 Championship they do have some domestic honours to their name. The club have won the Coupe de France twice in 1965 and 1971 as well as the Trophee des Champions in 1971. In Europe Rennes have also been successful winning the Uefa Intertoto Cup in 2008. Rennes finished a respectable 6th place in Ligue 1 last season. Manager Frédéric Antonetti will be hoping the club can go even further this season and maybe even challenge for the top 3!

The Rennes away shirt this season is black and white horizontal stripes (hoops) and the design template is much different to that of the Rennes home shirt. The team will be hoping to push on from last season and continue to improve in what is a very competitive French league. The Rennes jersey isn’t seen to often but with Puma as the manufacturers the quality as well as the design should be worth at least a look.
