The Valencia football shirt is a very popular La Liga shirt. The Valencia home shirt is usually white in colour with a black trim. Valencia are a very famous Spanish side who have a worldwide fan base.

Valencia CF, known by their fans as Los Che or Els taronja (The Orange) were founded in 1919. The club was first established on March 5th 1919 then officially approved on March 18th 1919. The first president of the club was Octavio Augusto Milego Díaz, who incidentally won the presidency via a coin toss.

Valencia have always had a white home shirt featuring some black with black shorts and black socks. This is quite unusual as most teams go through a number of colour changes in the early years before deciding on a colour.

Valencia currently play their home games at the 55,000 capacity Mestalla stadium. Valencia first played at the Algiros stadium before moving to the Mestalla in 1923. Valencia are now due to move to a new stadium in the North West of the city to be called the Nou Mestalla in 2013.

Valencia are the 3rd most successful team in Spain as well as the 3rd most successful, behind the two giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. They have a long rivalry with Levante who are also from Valencia as well as two other local teams, Hercules and Villarreal.
