Despite suffering relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga, German side Rot Weiss Oberhausen have released images of their new home and away kits for life in the 3rd Liga. Fans will be hoping that trainer Theo Schneider can bring back happy scenes at their home Stadion Niederrhein and send ‘Die Kleeblätter’ (The Clovers) straight back to the 2nd Liga.
Their new 2011/2012 football kits are manufactured by Hummel. The Rot Weiss Oberhausen 2011-12 home shirt is red and features an grey imprint of a clover at the base of the shirt. The recognisable chevrons of Hummel run down both shoulders in red and white, while white spikes run from the base of shoulder to the armpit on the right side and vice versa on the other side. The collar is white with a small segment of red at the front with the kit manufacturers logo below. The club crest is on the left side of the chest and the sponsor VATRO is across the front. Oberhausen’s away kit follows the same design, but the base colour is black and the white spikes are red.
